Job Description

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Monitor multiple sources (e.g., email, systems, meetings, reports) to identify content intended for publication on digital channels including but not limited to:
  • Casino Marketing offers, special events, entertainment events, hotel offers, local and regional events
  • Third-party online resources such as Yelp, Google, TripAdvisor, etc.
  • Populate and manage content using a variety of tools including but not limited to:
  • GSR websites content, casino/loyalty portal, interactive kiosks, digital signage, email, social media
  • Effectively use multiple content management systems including:
  • Web content management (such as HubSpot CMS, WordPress, etc.)
  • Digital Signage content management (such as Four Winds, Poppulo, PiSignage, BrightSign, etc.)
  • Third-party content management (such as Yelp Biz, Google My Business, etc.)
  • B2B content management (such as, Agilysys rGuest suite, Passkey, etc.)
  • Maintain content as needed in order to best represent the products and services of Grand Sierra Resort and Casino including but not limited to:
  • Copy / text, Database records, Images, Documents
  • Ensure content initiatives are consistent, accurate, provide engaging offer-related information and maximize customer retention.
  • Collaborate with key department leads and management to deliver effective marketing content to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost (time and financial).
  • Collaborate with designers, product/service marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to ensure content meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Assist to create training and procedural documentation to aid secure web site member services team to effectively manage user profile accounts.
  • Develop and manage content calendar and organization workflows to solicit and manage content updates from business segments throughout property.
  • Maintain library of creative assets for advertising and marketing needs.
  • Assist in production of large format print assets (e.g., posters) using in-house print facility.
  • Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Superior organizational, time management and communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high quality content and complete tasks with consistency and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in standard business applications such as MS Word, Google Docs, MS Excel, Google Sheets MS Power Point, Google Forms, and others.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent guest service to internal clients, outside vendors and property guests.
  • Ability to work effectively, independently, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment of multiple projects within established timelines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong written, oral communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies and practices.
  • Ability to conduct research into application and software related issues and products.
  • Highly logical and technically proficient.
  • Keen attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability of simple math, and complex reading, writing, and task completion skills is required.
  • Must have the following skills: clerical, coordination, analyzing, following instructions, influencing others, problem solving, and independent judgment.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or minimum of 3 years’ marketing/advertising experience is required or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Previous experience in casino/resort industry and brand management is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting and occasionally standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, and kneeling during the duration of their shift.
  • Must be able to push/pull 50lbs or less occasionally.
  • The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands, frequent light grasping motions, and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
  • Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • Team Member may be exposed to moving objects, solvents/oils, and/or secondhand smoke.
