**Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic for a Class IV 14 CFR Part 145 certified repair station specializing in every aspect of aircraft maintenance for the service life of your fleet. We maintain narrow and wide body, small to large, regional to long-haul aircraft and one of the largest storage and reclamation operations in the world. **Responsibilities** + Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components with company special tools and ground equipment in accordance with applicable maintenance manual, FAA regulations, and company policies and procedures. + Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units. + Read and interpret manufacturers and airlines' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. + Upon removing units from an aircraft, engine, or other major component or subassembly, complete appropriate identification, inspections, routing tags and forms and make appropriate entries into the Component Removal Log. + Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear, or other defects. + Repair or replace defective engine parts and reassemble and install engine in aircraft. + Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories. + Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft including cleaning, servicing, greasing, moving parts, and checking brakes. **Essential Skills** + 1-5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance + Airframe certification required + Current valid driver's license + Proficiency in heavy maintenance, line maintenance, and aircraft repair **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A&P license preferred + Basic set of tools required **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability insurance, and life insurance (STD & LTD). Join our team to enjoy a supportive work environment and opportunities for career growth. **Work Environment** The work environment includes an aircraft maintenance hangar with exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, working at heights or around moving machinery, and aircraft fuel tank entry. Physical demands include sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level, and occasional crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weight up to 50 pounds unassisted. The role requires eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, corrected vision, and hearing to normal range. Equipment operated includes aircraft ground servicing equipment such as tugs, tractors, hi-lifts, trucks, servicing carts, and test equipment, hand tools, rivet guns, and drills. Protective equipment such as goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, and safety harnesses are required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marana, Arizona. We also have locations in Tucson, AZ! **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
