As a Carpenter at Flynn & Co you will be responsible for:

• Basic math skills to perform calculations while measuring on job sites and to help the surveying crew
• Mechanical skills to use any necessary heavy machinery and equipment
• Ability to perform heavy labor, such as moving materials
• Physical stamina to handle the long hours of performing strenuous work during the day in hot or cold weather
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to read or understand instructions and blueprints
• Effective time management skills
• Understanding of building codes, safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Performing a variety of construction tasks such as carpentry, concrete work, restoration, and demolition.
• Assisting in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites.
• Following safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a construction worker or similar role.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Experience with construction painting
• Ability to build and remodel structures
• Knowledge of construction site protocols and safety measures
• Skills in roofing, plumbing, drywall, painting, and restoration.
• Ability to fabricate structures as required
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license.
