Job Title: Chef de Cuisine (Temporary with Full-Time Potential)

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. This is a temporary role with the strong potential to transition into a full-time position after approximately six months. The full-time role would include seasonal travel opportunities during the off-season to support other culinary initiatives and pop-ups.

The Chef de Cuisine will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, leading and mentoring the culinary team, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven chef to contribute to a creative, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, staff scheduling, inventory management, and food cost control
• Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team to uphold culinary excellence and consistency
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization
• Collaborate with the ownership and front-of-house team to create memorable dining experiences
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure the use of high-quality, seasonal ingredients
• Innovate and execute fine dining-level dishes that reflect the brand's identity

Requirements:

• Must have fine dining experience with a proven track record of leadership in a high-performance culinary environment
• Minimum 5 years in a professional kitchen with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and inventory control
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Passion for hospitality, creativity, and continuous improvement
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Willingness to travel seasonally if the role transitions to full-time
