Our client is a well-established, growth-oriented fintech company operating at the intersection of digital payments and emerging markets. The company is now capitalizing on its cross-border capabilities to simplify payment ecosystems in regions marked by fragmentation and complexity—starting with the US market.

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the company’s revenue strategy across its expanding payment operations. This executive will be responsible for new client acquisition, market penetration, and building a world-class commercial organization from the ground up. The CRO will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, driving scalable revenue through innovative sales, go-to-market, and customer growth initiatives.

Requirements

Revenue Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Design and execute a robust revenue growth strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and client segments, with a focus on US expansion and beyond.
  • Develop frameworks to assess product-market fit and refine offerings accordingly.

Client Acquisition & Commercial Leadership

  • Lead and scale a high-performance sales organization focused on net-new customer acquisition.
  • Establish commercial KPIs and sales operations practices that drive accountability and measurable results.
  • Cultivate relationships with enterprise clients, platforms, and key industry players.

Team Building & Organizational Development

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier talent across sales, partnerships, and business development functions.
  • Create a high-performance culture that prioritizes growth, resilience, and collaboration.
  • Implement operational excellence in commercial functions, supported by data and systems.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Establish dashboards and reporting structures to monitor revenue pipeline, conversion metrics, and performance.
  • Partner with finance, product, and marketing teams to align business strategies and ensure cross-functional synergy.
  • Deliver regular insights to executive stakeholders and the board on revenue forecasts and strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in commercial or revenue leadership roles, ideally within fintech, payments, or SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling commercial teams from the ground up in high-growth environments.
  • Strong domain knowledge of payment processing, regional market dynamics (especially the US), and client acquisition at scale.
  • Experience working with global enterprise clients and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Data-driven, analytical mindset with proven ability to convert insights into action.
  • Inspirational leader with a track record of mentoring and building high-performance teams.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
