Are you a hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a part time cook at our restaurant. We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high-volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn. We need a team player who is ready to work alongside other crew members and has excellent time-management skills. If this describes you, apply today! Responsibilities:

• Check food temperatures with thermometers to ensure that food has reached safe levels of heat for consumption
• Sweep, mop, clean countertops, and wipe down all used surface areas at the end of each shift
• Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Guarantee that quality food is supplied by following specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products
• Cook food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions

Qualifications:

• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
• Must have excellent time-management skills and be able to prioritize and multitask
• We prefer some experience working in the fast food or quick service restaurant industry
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
