A Stoney River leader must have thorough knowledge of food service and execution. The Executive Chef is responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities including overseeing the entire operations of the kitchen. They supervise the kitchen staff and makes sure they are performing their duties appropriately. An Executive Chef must also make sure the kitchen area meets health and safety requirements, as mandated by law. They will need to plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and delegate responsibility to the staff which ensures the goals and objectives, of the kitchen, are met on a daily basis by the staff. They must maintain a high level of guests’ satisfaction and standards, provide strong leadership, and promote development and team building.

Preferred candidates will have “from scratch” cooking experience in high volume and fast paced kitchens that focus on execution and plate presentation. A bachelor’s degree or culinary degree is preferred, but not required.

Training:

Our Executive Chefs complete a 10-week training program. You will participate in a hands-on rotational training program, giving you experience working with our first-class culinary and service professionals. The training is intense, and the education is invaluable!
