Job Description

A Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and public areas within a hotel. This includes cleaning, restocking supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues. They work to ensure guest satisfaction by providing a clean and comfortable environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning Guest Rooms: This involves tasks like making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms. 
• Restocking Supplies: Replenishing toiletries, coffee supplies, and other guestroom amenities. 
• Cleaning Public Areas: Maintaining the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other common areas. 
• Laundry Services: Collecting, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels. 
• Reporting Maintenance Issues: Notifying management or the maintenance department about any broken appliances, damaged furniture, or safety hazards. 
• Handling Guest Requests: Responding to guest requests for extra supplies or assistance. 
• Maintaining Cleaning Supplies: Ensuring that cleaning carts and storage areas are organized and well-stocked. 
• Adhering to Safety and Security Protocols: Following established safety and sanitation procedures.
