Land scape Designer

KEITH is seeking talented individuals to join our dynamic and creative Landscape Architecture studio in Miami, FL.  The KEITH Team believes that landscape architecture is the creative fusion of art and science to develop resilient solutions for our clients and the community. Our multidisciplinary team of Landscape Architects, Arborists, Planners, Landscape and Irrigation Designers collaborates with KEITH's Engineering, Geospatial, and Construction professionals to deliver thoughtful, integrated solutions.

Our team provides innovative designs for institutional and commercial projects, residential and mixed-use developments, streetscape and roadway beautification, resorts, active and passive parks, plazas and various urban redevelopments. Whether it is by creatively meeting the intent of the code or in creating spectacular lush destinations, we bring experience, knowledge, fresh energy, and innovation to each and every project.

Job Description:

  • Contribute to the overall success of the KEITH Team by following the firm’s standards of excellence in design, quality and project execution.
  • Participate in design reviews, project meetings, design charettes and brainstorming sessions with the team.
  • Development of design sketches, sections, illustrative plans, renderings, and other graphic presentation materials.
  • Research, analyze and interpret land development regulations as they apply to project requirements.
  • Preparation of technical drawing submittals for all phases of the design process including entitlements, site plan, permitting, and construction documents.
  • Assist with tree inventory and analysis both in the field as well as preparation of tree disposition plans and arborist reports.
  • Participate in construction observation including on-site landscape inspections, reviewing and processing of RFIs and submittals, and coordination with contractors and equipment suppliers.
  • Work collaboratively within KEITH’s multidisciplinary team setting to ensure well-coordinated design solutions.
  • Represent the firm at meetings, presentations, organizations, and other activities to help advance the KEITH team’s presence in the community.

Job Qualifications:

  • BLA, BS or MS in Landscape Architecture or a related field
  • 3-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with FDOT is a plus but not required
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, team oriented, detail oriented, and strong organization skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suites (Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with MicroStation / Open Roads Designer is a plus
  • Strong graphics and understanding of the design process
  • 3D modeling and experience with BIM/Revit a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
