+ Assist Buyers in researching, evaluating, and selecting vendors and supplies based on pricing, quality, availability, and reliability
+ Identify and categorize customer orders that fall under the "High Alert" status based on predetermined criteria, such as urgency, customer importance, or specific requirements.
+ Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure these orders receive immediate attention.
+ Regularly update stakeholders, highlighting potential delays or opportunities.
+ Work closely with sales, production, logistics, purchasing, and customer experience teams for seamless coordination.
+ Communicate special requirements related to High Alert orders.
+ Maintain open communication with Customer Experience Reps, providing updates on escalated challenges.
+ Address concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
+ Vendor communication
+ Liaise with vendors to expedite procurement and on-time delivery for High Alert orders.
+ Coordinate special arrangements for tight deadlines, delivery schedules, or specific customer needs.
+ Ensure procurement documentation compliance with company policies.
+ Generate regular reports summarizing High Alert order fulfillment performance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1-3 years of purchasing experience
+ Proficient in MS Excel
+ Food & beverage background (preferred, not required)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
