• Must be able to show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
• Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet due dates and deadline.
• On the job the employee must bend, squat, climb, kneel, and reach above shoulder level. The employee will be exposed to high temperatures and/or high humidity during the summer seasons. Maintaining stamina is a must due to heavy lifting and long busy days on their feet.

• The Room Attendant will be responsible for providing a variety of functions in the housekeeping department while providing the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Cleaning of guest rooms in a timely manner, complying with room amenities according to hotel standards and assisting with guest’s requests, and maintaining cleanliness for back of the house and general appearance of public areas and assisting other housekeeping attendants to ensure there is enough supply of guest room materials and linen count.
• Always comply with the Red Lion Inn standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Perform any other duties as requested by the Management or supervisors.
