The goal of the senior level intake assessor is to arm our investigators and supervisors with additional analysis of the allegations and participants of the investigation based on reporter information, prior abuse reports, criminal activity, and other relevant information before the investigation is assigned to an investigator. If after assessment it is determined a track other than an investigation is better suited to serve the family the Intake will not be assigned to an investigator but handled via a different response track by the assessor. The Assessment Response Team is ultimately responsible for providing support to frontline staff in providing accurate assessments to assist with field response and family interaction. We aim to additionally assist with diverting appropriate cases from the field to assist with the burden on frontline staff so that the right families receive the time, attention and support they need.
