Internal Service Engineer

Arvada, CO (Onsite) + Up to 10% domestic travel

$70,000 base + Overtime + $5,000 Annual Bonus

About the Role:

We’re seeking a hands-on, early-career Internal Service Engineer to join our global field service team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of technical experience who is eager to grow their skills supporting centrifugal pumps and compressors. You’ll split your time between technical troubleshooting, customer support, and quoting work for aftermarket equipment. With a mix of in-office responsibilities and occasional travel, this position offers strong development opportunities in a specialized engineering environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with rotating equipment (mechanical, electrical, or process-related)
• Assist with root cause failure analyses (RCFA) and warranty assessments
• Support engineering teams by preparing quotes for duplicate units (10–25% of the role)
• Manage service cases using Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Provide remote and on-site support to customers and partners, including training
• Visit customer sites for inspections and assessments (limited travel)
• Read and apply mechanical drawings, including GD&T and basic PLC control logic
• Submit accurate and timely technical reports and expense documentation

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–2 years of hands-on technical experience (internships or co-ops count!)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and customer-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Familiarity with rotating equipment, control systems, and technical diagrams
• Comfortable interpreting P&IDs, API seal plans, and mechanical schematics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field with 1+ year of professional experience
• OR associate degree with 3–4 years of field or service experience
• Experience with PLCs, CRM tools, and report writing is a plus
