What You'll Do:
As a Small Business Underwriter, you'll play a vital role in our success by building and managing a profitable portfolio of commercial trucking accounts. You'll have the autonomy to make key decisions, assess risk, and cultivate strong relationships with agents and insureds. This is a chance to truly own your work and see the direct impact of your contributions.
Directly influence the profitability and growth of our business.
Evaluate and price insurance policies, including endorsements.
Manage your own book of business, making independent decisions in a dynamic environment.
Become a trusted advisor and partner to our agents and insureds, building long-lasting relationships.
Participate in a comprehensive training program that includes one-on-one mentoring, classroom learning, and self-paced study.
What You'll Bring:
While prior experience in sales, relationship management, or insurance is a plus, it's not required! We're willing to train the right person.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze and assess risk.
A knack for identifying customer needs and presenting solutions.
