Position Summary & Key Areas of Ownership

MUST have CPG experience. As the Social Media Specialist, you will perform a pivotal role in branded content creation, photo/video capturing, day-to-day digital channel management, social media reporting, community event participation, community engagement, sponsorships and donations, public relations, and communications management. The ideal candidate should possess experience with paid and organic media efforts, strong communication skills, strategic thinking, analytical assessment capabilities, graphic design skills, creative design mindset, and an inviting personality.

Core Responsibilities

• Create variable content assets for various social media platforms (photo, video, reels, stories, short-form video, YouTube) – in conjunction with existing Creative Design Lead.
• Ability to capture raw content and edit into useable content.
• Develop and organize content library and various asset configurations.
• Develop copy for various social media platforms – brand voice oriented
• Plan, implement, and manage organic and paid social media campaigns
• Schedule, post, and monitor social media platforms
• Coordinates with Director of Marketing to develop and execute annual social media calendar.
• Generate analytic reports across all social and digital platforms and able to make quantified-backed solutions for improvement.
• Engage and manage social media community communications
• Manage sponsorship and donations requests, influencer requests, tradeshow requests.
• Source, manage, and engage bloggers, influencers, and social media partners.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Uncle Crumbles by planning, coordinating, and attending all local events and tradeshows.
• Draft, edit, and release press releases when needed while maintaining and updating public relations contact list.
• Develop relationships across all departments, monitor each process, and execute branded storytelling across multiple social, public relations, and communications channels.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in one or multiple of the following disciplines Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Videography, Photography, Animation
• 5-8 Years Experience
• Travel – 5%
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva
• Proficient in automation and scheduling platforms.
• Proficient in all social media platforms.
• Skilled in analytics reporting (impressions, reach, user behavior, channel usage, ROI)
• Skilled in media planning, buying, and management
• Skilled in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook)
• Candidate must be time and detail oriented, a team player – able to work cross-departmentally - yet able to work independently. A highly communicative individual that is passionate about their professional output.
• Knowledgeable of latest trends in CPG markets.
