Job Summary:
Global Infrared is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Wiring Technician to join our team in Murrieta, CA. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for wiring and assembling electrical components and panels used in infrared systems and power distribution equipment. You’ll work closely with engineers and senior technicians to ensure all products meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Wire and assemble electrical panels, control boxes, and subassemblies based on schematics and layout drawings
• Install and connect components such as circuit breakers, relays, terminal blocks, and wiring harnesses
• Perform continuity testing and basic troubleshooting to verify proper wiring
• Follow safety procedures, quality guidelines, and work instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to resolve wiring issues or design changes
• Document work and report any discrepancies in build processes
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or technical certification in electrical or mechanical field
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
• Experience with hand tools, wire cutters, crimpers, and multimeters
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods
Preferred:
• 1–2 years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or related field
• Familiarity with low-voltage control systems and industrial wiring standards
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
